Ammonium 2-mercaptobenzothiazolate ionic liquids as accelerators of nitril rubber vulcanization
Four ammonium 2-mercaptobenzothiazolates were prepd. and used as ionic liqs. for curing acrylonitrile-butadiene elastomer to study the vulcanization kinetics, crosslinking d. and mech. properties of the vulcanizates. Use of the ionic liqs. results in accelerating the curing rate but also in determination of mech. strength of the rubber vulcanizates.
