Photoelectrochemical Responses from Polymer-coated Plasmonic Copper Nanoparticles on TiO2
Plasmonic Cu nanoparticles photocatalytically deposited on a TiO2 electrode show photocorrosion under visible light. The electrode protected with poly(vinyl alcohol) exhibits photopotential and photocun-ent responses due to localized surface plasmon resonance, suggesting that it could be applied to cost-effective plasmonic devices.
