Menthol, chlorophyl (alpha+beta) and inline were extd. with H(2)O or EtOH-H(2)O mixt. (1:1) from mint leafs, nettle leafs and dandelion roots, resp., under ultrasounds (20 kHz up to 750 W) at 25-80 degrees C. The diffusion coeff. increased with increasing extn. temp. and power consumption. The mixed solvent was more efficient than H(2)O. Fundamentals of the process were given.
