Study of a reactor with porous barrier for removal of higher hydrocarbons from process gases
Artificial coke-oven gas was converted with O(2) in lab, and pilot plant membrane reactors at 600 degrees C and 800 degrees C, resp., to remove gas-contained PhH. The full removal of PhH could not be achieved. A small decrease in H(2) conc. in the gas was also obsd.
