Effect of a modification of fertilizer production technology on emission of odour substances
Outlet gases from corn. prodn. of single superphosphate (SSP) were analyzed for presence of about 20 odorous substances (org. sulfides and disulfides, Me tetrahydrothiophenes). The substances were addnl. decompd. by plasma treatment (efficiency about 50%). SSP and K salts were also added (1% and 0.4% by mass, resp.) to cattle and pig manures to limit the NH(3) emission during their 14 days long storage (efficiency 31% and 28%, resp.).
