Use of the oscillation method to study viscoelasitic properties of aqueous solutions of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose
Aq. solns. of CMC Na salt (CMC) were studied for storage and loss modules at 1-3% concn. of CMC at 20-50 degrees C by oscillation method. The measurements were carried out by using the MCR 301 Rheometer. The examd. fluids showed visco-elastic properties esp. at CMC concns. 2-3%. The results of rheolog. studies on CMC solns. were also reviewed.
