The multilayer adsorption model presented is aimed at drawing information on pore structure and capacity on the basis of adsorption isotherms of small mols. In the microporous adsorbents, the adsorption capacity and energy distribution are linked with geometrical properties of the pores. During the adsorption, an agglomeration of adsorbate mols. in micropores takes place. The agglomerate size is limited by the pore size. Twelve basic assumptions of the model were given and commented.
