Residual fibres-contg. rubber waste was crumbled after cooling in liq. N and used as a filler of natural rubber (weight ratio 0.2-0.6). The rubber mixts. were homogenized by rolling, vulcanized at 143 degrees C for 10-25 min and then studied for tensile strength, elongation at fracture, elasticity and abrasion resistance. The best results were achieved for the vulcanizates with recyclate-natural rubber ratio 0.6 and vulcanized for 10 min.
