The types of, and the procedures used to reutilize, plastic wastes in Poland and abroad are reviewed. The recycling problems encountered in the EU countries and the methods applied to solve them are described. Poland's legal framework of, the needs for, and the existing and contemplated techno-economical systemic solutions for, recycling plastic wastes are outlined. Possible funding sources are specified, based on recycling of plastics, intended to assist to finance ecological investments.
