Dehydrogenation of C-2-C-4 alkanes on iron-containing catalysts
The catalytic conversion of C-2-C-4 alkanes in the presence of Fe/SiO2 and Fe-Mo/SiO2 catalysts was studied. The optimal conditions were found for the dehydrogenation of the alkanes into C-2-C-4 olefins. The state of iron in the catalyst structure was determined in situ by Mossbauer spectroscopy.
