Nickel passivation on zeolite-containing deep-cracking catalysts
Accumulation of nickel on HZSM-5 containing catalysts poisons them in deep catalytic cracking (560degreesC) of vacuum gas oils: the yield of gaseous olefins and gasoline and diesel fractions decreases. The treatment of nickel-poisoned catalysts with antimony-containing passivators makes it possible to recover the catalyst activity to a considerable extent.
