High-molecular-mass components of Vietnamese crude oils
The results of integrated structural analysis of asphaltenic, resinous, and oily components of crude petroleums produced from Oligocene deposits of the White Tiger field and from basement reservoirs of the Dragon field are reported. Characteristic differences in the structural-group composition of oils, resins, and asphaltenes from each of the crude oils examined were revealed. It was found that certain parameters of the structure of resins could be useful for differentiating petroleums occurring in the region of interest under various burial conditions.
