Processes for the utilization of caprolactam production waste were discussed. Experiments on the removal of ammonium sulfate from the tar stream using the salting-out procedure followed by caprolactam extraction were performed. Recommendations concerning salting-out agents and extractants are given, and optimal temperatures have been determined.
