A series of N,N-bis(alkylthiomethyl)-N-alkylamines were synthesized for the first time, and their score and wear prevention efficiency was studied. The results obtained showed that these compounds, regardless of the substituent nature, possess good antiscore and antiwear properties superior to well-known dibenzyl disulfide in their performance.
