Recycling Electronic Waste
Waste from the electronics industry, "e-waste," is increasing at an alarming rate. The industrialized countries of the world are beginning to address the problem, as e-waste is inundating solid-waste-disposal facilities, which are Inadequately designed to handle and manage it. And because e-waste contains some hazardous and even toxic materials, the seriousness of its effects on health and the environment cannot be overstated. This article details some techniques for safely recycling e-waste.
