Colour makes the difference
The influence of coloration on the weathering resistance of plasticised PVC films was studied. While UV stability is significantly improved by the addition of carbon black, this increases surface temperature at the same time, leading to higher plasticiser losses. So under what circumstances is coloration an advantage and what colours should be used?
