In the space of only 18 months, Peguform und Kaufmann succeeded in developing an instrument panel for the Chrysler Crossfire to production maturity using a new injection-compression moulding process. The foam-backed TPO coverstock used for the part gives a high-quality surface with a soft touch. The development and validation of the integrated passenger airbag took six months.
