A specialty polyamide 12 has been developed for use in fuel return lines and fuel lines located close to engines in diesel vehicles featuring new injection systems. It is far superior to other polyamides in resisting ageing at temperatures Up to 125degreesC. Compared with systems based on vulcanised elastomers, the new line system is much more economical.
