Shear modulus of rubber: An ultrasonic approach
The shear rigidity of two rubber samples with different Tg is studied over a large frequency range up to the Ultrasonic (US) region (2.5 MHz). From the low frequency values measured with a rheometer and using the time-temperature principle, G' and G" are calculated at different temperatures. These values are compared to the experimental US data.
