In recent years there were no revolutionary inventions in the field of rubber compound plastification and profile shaping (such as multi component heads, roller head and single roll roller die units or pin extruders), however, there are many most interesting developments and improvements of almost all line components, resulting in a better handling and use of the line and first of all better tire component quality. In the article the most important subjects will be demonstrated and summarized.
