Thermal decomposition of dioxins in fly ash of a municipal solid waste incinerator by the addition of iron oxide, calcium hydroxide and triethanolamine
Experiments were perfomed to select additives that efficiently ptomote the thermal decomposition of dioxins in fly ash of abmunicipal solid waste incinerator and to determine the optimum operational conditions. From experiments in a batch-type operation with iron oxide, calcium hydroxide and triethanolamine as additives to fly ash, the mechanism of thermal decomposition was deduced and the optimum operational conditions were clarified.
