Studies on Transport and Thermodynamic Properties of Binary Mixtures of Hexan-1-ol with Halogenated Compounds at 293.15 K
Viscosities (eta) of binary mixtures of hexan-1-ol with 1,2-dichloroethane, 1,2-dibromoethane, and 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethene have been determined at 293.15 K and at the atmospheric pressure for the whole composition range. Deviations in viscosity (A)7) from the mole fraction average have been derived from the experimental data. The viscosity data have been correlated using Kendall-Monroe, Lobe, Grunberg-Nissan, Tamura-Kurata, Hind-Mclaughlin-Ubbelohde, and Katti-Chaudhary viscosity models and McAllister's three-body interaction model
