Isochoric PVTx measurements for the CO2+N(2)Osystem
Measurements are reported for the CO2 + N2O System in both the two-phase and the superheated vapor regions using an isochoric apparatus. The experiment covered a temperature range from (214 to 358) K and a pressure range from (460 to 5870) kPa along 12 isochores. The data in the two-phase region enabled VLE to be estimated using a flash method with the Carnahan-Starling-De Santis equation of state (CSD EOS); in addition, the dew point for each isochore was found from the intersection of P-T sequences. These dew-point values were also used to derive VLE. The data in the superheated region were compared with the predicted data with the virial equation of state, and agreement within an AAD = 1.2% was found.
