Isopiestic and volumetric study of CuCl2 plus ethanol at 25 degrees C
Osmotic coefficients and densities of solutions of CUCl2 in ethanol are reported at 25 degreesC. Osmotic coefficients have been measured using an improved isopiestic method and correlated with the Pitzer and NRTL models. Densities have been measured using a vibrating-tube densimeter and fitted with equations obtained from the Pitzer and NRTL models. Both the Pitzer and NRTL models successfully correlate the experimental osmotic coefficient and density data.
