Simulation of dynamic changes of liquid-liquid interface using the CFD technique
The simulation of the fori-ning water drop pushed from the capillary into organic phase (octane) was performed using the CFD technique. The results of the simulation were compared with experimental data: drop geometry at the characteristic stages, forming time and obtained volume. Very good agreement with experimental data was affirmed.
