The estimation of investment cost by using of modular technique is a new approach for determination of investment capital for the industrial plants. Modular estimation of investment cost covered in this paper lets a planner determine the investment cost of multipurpose chemical plant in project phases and in the dependence on complexity level of a plant. The new systematic enables early-stage decisions concerning the capital need for multipurpose chemical plants.
