Eruption of the boundary layer phenomenon due to motion of the concentrated vorticity area above the wall was discussed. Vortex particle method was chosen to investigate the phenomenon. The mechanism of formation of the singularities in the boundary layer was discussed. Theoretical background as well as numerical results have been presented and confronted with the results of numerical and analytical research of other authors. Presented numerical results confirmed eruption hypothesis which were advanced by other researchers and showed that vortex particle methods are very useful to investigate unexpected and sudden phenomena.
