Modelling of influence of turbulent mixing on the course of spray-freeze drying process
A model of dispersion and solidification of aqueous droplets in turbulent flow field in the spray-freeze drying process based on expansion of compressed carbon dioxide has been presented. The method enables estimation of frozen droplets size, temperature profile and freezing time of droplets.
