The methods of determining the steady-states of an airlift bioreactor for selected hydrodynamic structures of the liquid phase
A method for the mathematical modelling of an airlift reactor in dependence on established structure of liquid phase stream has been presented. On the basis of the hydrodynamic analysis, four mathematical models were proposed. The algorithms of determining the steady-states hysteresis loops for every model have been presented. The test calculations were carried out for the process of phenol biodegradation. The results obtained were presented in the form of bifurcation diagrams.
