To obtain a high-quality dried product, a precise control of many process parameters is required. In most drying installations, it is necessary to control inlet and outlet parameters of a drying agent and material being dried. Problems appearing during designing and operation of an experimental drying installation equipped with computer data acquisition and control systems are presented in the paper.
