Preliminary tests fine miling chromic oxide in vibration mill of lower wibration frequency
The results of chromium oxide milling in laboratory vibrating mill with lower vibration frequency are presented in this paper. The investigations programme included determination of influence vibration mill frequency, kind of grinding media set, chamber diameter and milling time on the contents of +0,063 mm class of grain size distribution. Results show that there is a possibility to obtained ground chromium oxide characterising, with 0,02-0,05 % of +0,063 class, in vibration mill with frequency of 10-12 Hz during 10-15 minutes milling time. Basing on experimental results operating parameters were elaborated for chromium oxide milling in an industrial vibration mill with lower frequency and continuous operating system.
