The results of kinetic study of the esterification of octanoic acid with selected aliphatic alcohols catalysed by dodecatungstophosphoric acid have been presented. The esterification reactions were carried out in an isothermal semibatch reactor. Basing on experimental results, the kinetic models and kinetic parameters of the investigated processes have been determined.
