Densities and ultrasonic velocities of binary mixtures of 2,4,6-trimethyl-1,3,5-trioxane plus n-alcohols at 298.15, 303.1.5 and 308.15 K
The densities and ultrasonic velocities of binary Mixtures of 2,4,6-trimethyl-1,3,5-trioxane + ethanol, I-propanol and I butanol at 298.15, 303.15 and 308.15 K were measured over the whole mole fraction range. Experimental data were used to estimate isentropic compressibility (k(s)), intermolecular free length (L-f), specific acoustic impedance (Z) and their deviations, such as deviation in isentropic compressibility (Delta K-s), excess intermolecular free length (L-f(E)) and excess acoustic impedance (Z(E)). The results are fitted to a Redlich-Kister equation. The results are discussed in terms Of Molecular interactions.
