Excess volumes for the binary liquid mixtures of methyl butyrate with bromobenzene, chlorobenzene and nitrobenzene have been calculated from the density data at 303 K, 308 K and 313 K as a function of composition. Values of excess volumes (V-E) for all the systems studied are found to be highly negative over the entire range of composition. The negative values of V-E were found to increase with increase in temperature.
