Removal of heavy metals like Cu, Cd, Ph from aqueous solution was studied using mango seeds powder. Study was carried out in batch technique as a function of contact time, metal ion concentration and pH of the solution. The sorption process follows Freundlich sorption isotherm. Maximum sorption was observed at acidic pH itself. The method is applied to various synthetic solutions.
