제목 Ethylene Polymerization by Modified Tridentate Fe(II) and Co(II) Catalysts
초록 Homogeneous tridentate Fe(II) and Co(II) catalysts developed by Brookhart in 1998 showed high activities in ethylene polymerization and produced linear polymers with good physical properties. There has been a big success in the enhancement of activity of ethylene polymerization and in the control of resulting polymers by various ligand modifications. Here we synthesized modified tridentate Fe(II) and Co(II) complexes, which contain allyl group on the pyridine ring. Ethylene polymerization by using the catalysts showed high activities in combination with MAO. Also these catalysts produced linear polymers. Here, we report the activities of ethylene polymerization and the physical properties of produced polymers.
