Chemically Modulated Crystalline Self-organization of Quinoxaline Based Thick Photovoltaic Polymer with efficiency of ~8% |
초록 |
A series of fluorinated Quinoxaline based semi-crystalline low band gap polymers was designed and synthesized by incorporation of non-covalent Coulomb interactions in a polymeric main chain. Chemically modified donor moiety in a polymer backbone allows fine-adjustment absorption range, the frontier energy levels, crystalline self-organization and the resulting film morphology. The optimized photovoltaic cell based on PDFQx-3:PC71BM achieved power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 8% with an open-circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.74 V, a short-circuit current (Jsc) of 17.2 mA/cm2 and a fill factor (FF) of 63% at a ~270 nm thick active layer. This high PCE at a thick device may suggest a great potential for mass production of printed polymer solar cells via industrial solution processes. |
