제목 Size-Controlled Nanoparticle-Guided Assembly of Block Copolymers for Convex Lens-Shaped Particles
초록 Due to the high surface area of nanometer-sized colloidal particles, the interfacial interaction between block copolymer (BCP) and surfactant surrounding the emulsion greatly affects the final internal morphology of BCP particles. Convex lens-like functional particle with defect-free porous channels was created via precise design of interfacial interactions between Au NPs and BCPs. Size-induced segregation of Au NPs generated the balanced interfacial interaction between BCPs and water, and this neutralized interface combined with the directionality of solvent generated defect-free, vertically ordered porous channels within the particles. Furthermore, these particles could possess unique optical, chemical and catalytic property by loading various metal nanoparticles into the porous channels. In particular, electromagnetic fields concentrated into a deep sub-wavelength scale area of the particle, which arises from well-ordered Au cylinders, showing great promise for various applications.
