Electrochemically Exfoliated Graphene and PEDOT:PSS hybrid electrode for Organic Field Effect Transistor via Spray Coating Method |

The organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) was fabricated by spray coating of electrochemically exfoliated graphene (EEG) and conducting polymer (PEDOT:PSS) hybrids as electrodes. The source and drain (S/D) electrodes of OFET were prepared by direct spray coating of EEG dispersion in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) on a Si/SiO2 substrate. To reduce the roughness and sheet resistance of the EEG electrodes, subsequent coating of PEDOT:PSS and acid treatment were performed. After that, active channel layer was developed by spin coating of semiconducting poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) on the S/D electrodes to define the bottom gate bottom contact (BG/BC) configuration. The OFET device with the EEG/PEDOT:PSS hybrid electrodes represented a reasonable electrical performances. |
