제목 Efficiency of SPAES composite membranes for direct methanol fuel cell membranes
초록 Sulfonated poly arylene ether sulfone (SPAES)/laponite composite membranes were prepared to reduce metanol permeability in direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs). The modification of laponite by substitution with sulfonic group was performed to improve or remain the proton conductivity, after incorporating non-conducting laponite particles. Membrane properties for fuel cell system was examined controlling added laponite contents. High proton conductivity with low methanol permeability compared to the pure SPAES was obtained the SPAES composite membrane containing 2wt% of laponite.
