제목 Dielectrophoretic Control of Glassy Photonic Inks Encapsulated in Core-Shell Microcapsules
초록 Herein, we investigate the assembly of aqueous colloid solution in double emulsion microcapsules made by the microfluidic chip under non-uniform electric field. We found that strong dielectrophoretic force occurred at the inner drop under non-uniform DC field. We controlled the shell thickness of capsules for active tuning of self-assembly and observe photonic colors to confirm structure ordering formed by dielectrophoresis. These microcapsules showed electrically stable at high electric field which could be a good stepping stone for developing practical applications of photonic displays.
