제목 Tunable 3D Agarose-Well to enhance the Structural Integrity of a Reconstructed Human Skin Equivalent
초록 Reconstructed human skin equivalents are widely used in various application and their successful uses depend on the structural integrity. In this study, we hypothesized that an Agarose-Well improved structural integrity in reconstructed human skin equivalents. This study examined the effect of Agarose-Well invaded collagen and regulated hydrophobicity. The enhanced structural integrity of the reconstructed dermis layer, which is model skin, was dependent on the penetration of collagen in Agarose-Well. The Agarose-Well that possess various hydrophilic/hydrophobic balances would allow to produce reconstructed dermis layers with elastic modulus (E) between 6.8 ± 0.95 kPa and 20.9 ± 0.54 kPa. Ultimately, the results of this study will be highly useful to develop the reconstructed human skin equivalents.
