제목 Recovery of nano-sized nickel powder from spent petroleum catalysts using simple hydrometallurgy method
초록 Nickel is widely used in various industry field such as stainless steel, batteries and multilayer ceramic capacitors because it has high corrosion resistance, excellent electrical conductivity and high energy storage capacity. For these reasons, the consumption of nickel has increased during the last few decades. Many countries consuming this material without supplying have difficulties in the production. One way to avoid the supply difficulty is the recycling method of the materials for the spent petroleum catalysts because it has large amount of nickel. We have tried to synthesize nano-sized nickel powder from spent petroleum catalysts for resource recycling purpose. The nano-sized nickel powder was successfully prepared by using simple hydrometallurgy method. Analysis of the recovered nickel powder was done by using FE-SEM, XRD, TGA and ICP.
