Currently, light-emitting diodes used in commercial displays can be roughly divided into two types depending on light-emitting material. One is OLED made by small organic molecules and the other is QDLED made by inorganic quantum dots. Here, we will propose perovskite nanocrystal as new emitting material. Perovskite nanocrystal emitter is cheaper cost manufacturing than OLED due to shorter process step and lower-cost matierals. As well as, the perovskite emitter is easier control of electric properties than QDLED because of no need for fine and uniform size control. Therefore, we can assure that perovskite nanocrystal emitter is innovative alternative emitter because of some advantages such as lower process cost, facile tuning of electrical properties by simple mixing of components, size-independent high color purity. |
