In this presentation, we report the one-step synthetic method of the Ag nanoplates with high aspect ratio through a coordination. Ag nanoplates were synthesized in acetonitrile which played crucial roles in kinetical control, co-solvent and ligand to form complexes with the Ag+ ions. Coordination complexes between Ag+ ions and acetonitrile could decrease the rate of the reduction of Ag+ ions. Consequently in nucleation step, the number of seeds were decreased. Decreasing the number of seeds in this way, while keeping the concentration of the Ag precursor constant, led the formation of larger Ag nanoplates. Ag nanoplates with high aspect ratio specifically were formed with lateral dimensions exceeding 1 μm and thickness of 30 nm by new synthetic method. When these Ag nanoplates were deposited on PDMS for printed electronics, they were shown electrical percolation in a short sintering time and high electrical conductivity. |
