Inorganic-polymer composites are widely used due to their excellent mechanical properties such a low thermal expansion coefficient and incombustible property. In this study,the effects of additive Al2O3/SiO2 particlesin high density polypropylene(HDPE)/ethylene propylene diene monomer(EPDM) and electron beam irradiations on these sample were investigated. The HDPE/EPDMcomposites were prepared in different weight ratio and the Al2O3/SiO2 particles were added by to the matrix materials. Prepared composites were cured by various electron beam irradiation from 50 to 200kGy. The characterizations of prepared particles and composites were performed by XRD, DSC, TGA and ASTM analysis. |
