제목 Nanoscale biodevice consisted of self-assembled protein molecules
초록 Nanoscale bio-photodiode consisted of functional protein molecules has been developed by mimicking photoinduced electron transport process in nature, in which the molecular layers of proteins were worked as diode. The self-assembled film of functional protein molecules, green fluorescent protein (GFP) and modified cytochrome c, was applied to fabricate the nanoscale bio-photodiode. Thus, the nanoscale bio-photodiode with metal-insulator-metal (MIM) structure was constructed by gold substrate/protein adsorbed-self assembly film/STM gold tip system. The proposed bio-photodiode showed the photoswitching function with the repeated light illumination and the rectified photocurrent of molecular bio-photodiode was observed based on the measurement of current-voltage. The suggested nano-fabrication technology can be applied to the construction of nano-biochip for simultaneously analyzing many kinds of proteins. It was investigated that the biosurface fabrication using self-assembled protein molecules could be applied to the construction of nanoscale protein chip.
