제목 Organic thin-film transistors by using phase-separation of organic semiconductor and insulator polymer blends
초록 Organic semiconductor and insulator polymer blends have been widely used in the fabrication of thin-film transistors (TFTs) to overcome the disadvantages of TFTs based on organic semiconductor. In this report, organic semiconductors were blended with insulator polymer and phase separation characteristics of the blend films were examined. When electrical characteristics of TFTs based on the blend films at the blend ratio of 1 (organic semiconductor): 3 (insulator polymer) were measured, field-effect mobilities were maintained. AFM images of the blend films exhibited unique phase separation structure, which is beneficial for vertical charge injection and lateral charge transport. This study provides a useful way to improve the electrical properties of TFTs while reducing cost of organic semiconductor.
