제목 | BSU (Bench Scale Unit) Characteristics on Supercritical CO2 Algal Lipid Extraction from Microalgae |
초록 | For the biodiesel fuel production from microalgae, the lipid from freeze-drying samples of green algae Nannochloropsis sp. was extracted by using supercritical CO2 with methanol as a co-solvent. BSU (Bench Scale Unit) with 1L supercritical extractor was used in the experiment. After the optimization experiment of lipid extraction was investigated in a lab-scale by RSM (Response Surface Methodology), the optimum extraction condition was applied in the BSU experiment. The experimental conditions were temperature of 65℃, pressure range of 250~400bar, CO2 flowrate of 40mL/min, and methanol flowrate range of 10~25mL/min. Crude lipid yield of extraction at optimized condition was 23.04wt.%.
