제목 Fabrication and characterization of PLGA polymer-lipid hybrid nanoparticle for gene delivery platform
초록 The major problem in the field of cell therapy is how to effectively deliver target genes to special cells. In this study, we aimed to develop a poly (D, L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA)-lipid hybrid nanoparticles (NP) for gene delivery, which has the ability to overcome the disadvantages of polyethylenimine (PEI) - or cationic liposome based gene carrier. The PLGA polymer-lipid NP were successfully fabricated by emulsion solvent evaporation method and characterized by scanning electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering. Plasmid EGFP gene as a model gene was complexed with NP (100-200nm) and then transfected to 293 cells. Therefore, PLGA polymer-lipid hybrid nanoparticles would be widely utilized as a promising non-viral carrier for the delivery of genes as well as drugs.
